12 dead, including suspect, in VA Beach shooting

A disgruntled city employee opened fire at the municipal center in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on Friday afternoon, killing 11 people and wounding at least six others before he was killed himself, authorities said. Shelia Cook, who works at the court house building nearby, said she could hear the shooting and Megan Banton, who works in the building where the shooting occurred, said she doesn't know what would possess someone to shoot at others.
